I joined the wildlife filmmaking program in 2018. At the start I was worried that it would be too advanced as I had never filmed wildlife before, although I had worked with cameras during my university studies. However, from start to finsih the instructors ensured tht I had full support. They work out who is good with cameras, who knows animals and then work with you individually on what you need to focus on. The time on Schotia game reserve was the best 9(...)

Excellent month in South Africa

I had the best month of my life on the wildlife filmmaking course with Africa Media. We had access to great equipment and were taught how to use it. The 9 days spent on safari at Scotia were incredible. Some improvements could be made to WiFi/ housing facilities but we were able to go on some great activities in the local area!

A great experience!!

I was part of the October 2017 film program. Everyone at Africa Media were extremely kind and helpful. We learned about so many important skills, and got to use them in the field while at schotia, which was such a fantastic experience. I wish there would have been more cultural experiences, but the film program overall is wonderful and I would highly recommend the experience!
