My name is Maggie Kennedy and I recently earned a Bachelor of Art and Science in Photojournalism at University of Cincinnati, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Currently, I am focused on creating content related to adventurous travels and various internships in which I participated during my tenure in college. I was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago and am an avid traveller, constantly chasing new experiences, learning about new cultures and sharing a positive impact with my friends around the globe. I am a trained writer, poet, photographer and videographer and am SCUBA certified with experience in underwater photography and videography.
Additionally, I am a trained first-responder, certified in CPR, First-Aid and Lifeguarding, which allows me to step outside my comfort zone and be innovative in my approach to content creation with the confidence and knowledge that I have the ability to handle any emergency situation. A born multi-sport athlete, I am an intuitive sports photographer and reporter, able to capture unique moments on the court, in the arena or even on top of the mountain. As an environmental and wildlife advocate, I am able to write compelling pieces about the need to respect and care for our planet. My work has been published in The Outbound, on National Geographic’s Your Shot and various other publications.
I am also an experienced in film photography, social media, advertising and marketing, and specialize in landscape, portrait, street, travel, wildlife, sports and news photography.
